Is it possible in compound PDF tool to create a bar graph with an overlapping line graph on top of it? I have created reports with different types of graphs on the same page, but don't know whether overlapping different types of graphs is possible. Thank you.This message has been edited. WebFOCUS generated graphs are not transparent so overlapping them means the top one will hide any underneath.
You can however plot multiple series with different output styles on the same graph.
If you are using the advanced graph assistant in the chart editor select the series you want to change in the left hand pane then on the right pane click on Default next to Series Type and select the type you want either bar, line or area.
If you are changing the code manually the the API call is setSeriesType(getSeries(n),m);
where n is the number of the series (1st is 0 because it's java) and m is the type where 0 = Line 1 = bar 2 = marker 3 = area
