Hi All,

I am facing an issue while calling drill report from pdf formatted report , please advice,

I have a pdf report called d0.fex in my demo domain directory , in this fex file I am calling another fex called d1.fex ,

it shows error "HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found" and the Drill URL does not contains Port No,
below is the drill report URL generated by WebFOCUS
Case 1:- when report is opened in browser,

http://localhost/ibi_apps/WFServlet.ibfs?IBIF_webapp=/ibi_apps&IBIC_server=EDASERVE&IBIMR_drill=IBFS,RUNFEX,IBIF_ex,true&IBIF_ex=IBFS:/WFC/Repository/demo/d1%2Efex&CLICKED_ON=&COUNTRY=ENGLAND  

In above URL Port :8080 is missing , it should be localhost:8080

Case 2:- File downloaded to the disk

 file:///ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIF_webapp=/ibi_apps&IBIC_server=EDASERVE&IBIMR_drill=IBFS,RUNFEX,IBIF_ex,true&IBIF_ex=IBFS:/WFC/Repository/demo/d1.fex&CLICKED_ON=&COUNTRY=ENGLAND 

while I added FOXEXURL In the main report than also it show error "WebFOCUS was called with an invalid request"and URL looks like ,

http://localhost:8080/ibi_apps/WFServlet?IBIF_ex=IBFS:/WFC/Repository/demo/d1.fex&CLICKED_ON=&COUNTRY=ENGLAND

It's ok in WF 8.2.01 so I would suggest that you raise a case with tech support.

BabakNYC I am using WF 8202M Gen 14

Does it work if you change PDF to HTML?

Yes it works in HTML and excel as well.
