I have a report and graph generated...In the report I have a particular field which may or may not have data. So the output generated is period(dot)symbol
Using SET NODATA function, I have assigned it to N/A(Not Available) and the same is reflecting in the report output....The problem is when I generate graph using this field it works fine...But the value for that field is displayed as dot instead of N/A.
How do I set/assign the period(dot) symbol to N/A in Graph???
Is the data field that you are attempting to show in the graph numeric? If so, I think you will only ever get it to show as a zero.
If it is numeric, you could got to the trouble of redefining as an alphanumeric value and when missing set it to 'N/A' but then you might have problems showing it correctly on a graph.
If your field is not numeric then try creating an example using one of the supplied sample databases (CAR, GGSALES or EMPLOYEE etc.) so that we can understand your predicament more.
