Come Meet Others from Focal Point at Tech Summit 2004!

Mingle with your fellow Focal Point members at Tech Summit 2004 in New Orleans. Trade tips and techniques, put a face to a name, or simply chat with other members while enjoying refreshments and light fare at the Focal Point Birds of a Feather get-together.

Focal Point will be gathering on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 from 4-5pm. We will be providing food and drink. Come one, come all to the Birds-Of-A-Feather Focal Point event.

Room number will be announced prior to Summit or come check with me at the Focal Point booth in the Solutions Pavillion.

Well, it's not like we're going to have a bouncer standing at the door or anything

... the BOAF event will be open to current and future members. We welcome members of other FOCUS/WebFOCUS communities too.

Is there any plans for Focal Point summit in midwest...in near future.

There are no plans right now for a Midwest gathering. Should we plan any type of event for Focal Point, I will post the information right here on the forum.

Focal Point Moderators: I'm not sure if this is appropriate for this section so please remove this post if you decide it should not be here.

I am the local president of the Washington, DC Information Builders User Group (IBUG). The local IBI representative who was my contact is no longer with IBI and I do not have a list of local FOCUS/WebFOCUS users in the Washington, DC area to contact in regards to having IBUG meetings. I welcome any emails from local users letting me know who they are and what they would like to see at local meetings. I would also really like to meet many of you face-to-face in New Orleans this month at the Focal Point gathering. I enjoy local IBUG meetings as well as the Summit conference each year and find them very useful as far as learning about IBI products and meeting fellow IBI product users.
