I have a html report that has several data elements that need to lined up in subheadings. I've been using the alignment grid to do so. Everything looks great in Internet Explorer but when testing in Firefox, the results are not the same and the columns are all bunched together. Is there a way to get the same result in Firefox as I do in Internet Explorer? Here is an example file that can be run in each browser to see what I'm talking about. TABLE FILE CAR BY 'CAR.COMP.CAR' NOPRINT
Though it's not very well publicised Gerry's been talking about a PCHOLD DHTML which is supposed to be a lot more consistent in its layout than mere PCHOLD HTML.
As you are on 7.6 I would try this first.

I did what was suggested and changed the format to DHTML and that still didn't work for me. Also I've been reading that there is a firefox plugin that might help, but that is not an option for me to use. Any other suggestions?
Here is the code again between the tags that Francis suggested.
I don't have FireFox, so, I can't test. May want to contact IBI and ask for a FireFox resource.
Probably not what you are looking for, but, here is an alternative that does 'MOST' of what you were doing - exception being the Body Style line:
TABLE FILE CAR SUM CAR AS 'Car: ' OVER MODEL AS 'Model: ' OVER BODYTYPE AS 'Seats: ' DEALER_COST AS 'Dealer Cost: ' OVER LENGTH AS 'Length: ' WIDTH AS 'Width: ' HEIGHT AS 'Height: ' WEIGHT AS 'Weight: ' OVER WHEELBASE AS 'WheelBase: ' FUEL_CAP AS 'Fuel Capacity: ' BY 'CAR.COMP.CAR' NOPRINT SKIP-LINE HEADING "" FOOTING "" ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET STYLE * UNITS=IN, SQUEEZE=ON, ORIENTATION=PORTRAIT, $ TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=9, RIGHTGAP=0.125000, $ TYPE=TITLE, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=TABHEADING, SIZE=12, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=TABFOOTING, SIZE=12, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=HEADING, SIZE=12, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=FOOTING, SIZE=12, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=SUBFOOT, SIZE=10, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=SUBTOTAL, BACKCOLOR=RGB(210 210 210), $ TYPE=ACROSSVALUE, SIZE=9, $ TYPE=ACROSSTITLE, STYLE=BOLD, $ TYPE=GRANDTOTAL, BACKCOLOR=RGB(210 210 210), STYLE=BOLD, $ ENDSTYLE END -EXIT
