i have a image with transparent background. but when i use it in a report it doesnt show it.

i have below sample code and the image attached.

I can't see your image but using your code and one of my own image with transparency background, it does the trick

Maybe your image doesn't have a clear background ?

final outcome is, to place it above another report in a PDF compound report.

I have seen your URL, just not available to access : blocked by my organization security policies

Your sample code was with HTML output where it does work.
PDF output is another game when "playing" with images and I don't have an answer for you up to now
