Is there any customization that can be applied to remove the deferred status menu item from the Utilities menu in the BID?
Similarly, is there a way to customize which items can show up on the right click menus (when click on items in the domain tree for example)? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
When working in the BID the right click menus show only what the user is set up to see. So if the user is set up as an analytical user that has access to run reports but not to schedule reports, they won't receive the menu option of schedule.
I don't know if you can select which menu options you receive for the utilities though. What we did in my shop is just remove the utilities link all together when we don't want users using one of those links. you may be able to go into the actual HTM file for the dashboard and take it out, but I would advise against making drastic changes like that without backing up and without knowing how it will efffect other things.

Most of the menu items I didn't want I did manage to "remove" via the settings in the dashboard builder. However I still have a few left. I guess I will see if there are any other settings I can set and if not, I'll have to live with it as it is...
