I have created a CHART with the CAR file to test the COMMAND

 ON GRAPH PCHOLD FORMAT JSCHART

Might I be a fool to think that somewhere in that melange of buttons in Infoassist I can change this COMMAND to:

 ON GRAPH PCHOLD FORMAT PNG
???

I am using WebFOCUS APP STUDIO (ver. 8105) my GUI is just like yours !

Can anyone help me ?

Both App Studio and InfoAssist have the same UI for creating Charts. The FORMAT PNG is under the HOME tab. If you click the first button on the left PNG is an optional format (as well as GIF, JPEG and SVG).

When I select the HOME tab, the 1st button on the left displays “HTML 5”. The dropdown offers the options HTML 5, Active Report, Active Flash, PDF, Active PDF, Excel and PowerPoint.

If you open WF Administration Console and open Utilities, you'll see InfoAssist Properties. Then check the box for Additional HTML Formats for Chart. Save and clear cache. That should add PNG et cetera to your InfoAssist Chart Format options.

The App Studio Chart/Graph GUI menu/tab interface is one of the most ridiculous I've seen.

I'm sure the product manager'll be at Summit. We could give him some suggestions on how to make it less so.
