The new version of HTML Composer in WF77 is infuriating! Now I understand all the frustrated posts from Francis, the bloody thing is impossible to work with if you have a bit of a clue about what you're doing.

If the product would be better, we wouldn't have reason to use derogatory names for it.
As has been mentioned on this forum by others, the product is currently in such a dismal state that people write code to circumvent having to use the product. I am an example of those people, but my version is still incomplete so sometimes I have to fall back on HTML composer.
I might open a case, but I'd probably have a (better) working solution quicker by extending my own framework. This "valid reason" is just another case showing that IBI is taking HTML composer in a direction I do not want to follow.

I think the rtfilename issue started with hotfix 5. Hotfix 7 is supposed to resolve it.
We use jQuery UI with our HTML generated pages and I have to remember two things every time I make a change via the GUI: remove the comment at the top of the file; change all rtfilename to src.
Apparently hotfix 6 along with a ddl is suppsed to fix this, but *** didn't work for me, so we're all anticipating hotfix 7.

Thank goodness this one is not intentional. We're currently at HF6 in anticipation of HF7.
Thanks for the details. That's one of the annoyances in the newer Composer that I can scratch off my list.
