Dear,

I'm facing a problem in a report regarding column-borders and subheaders.

In the table, on the lines where the subheaders are shown, the vertical column borders don't show. The result is a vertical column border in pieces, where we would expect an entire line from top to bottom.

Is there a way to solve this?

code-example here:

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
     CAR.BODY.SALES
BY  LOWEST CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY
BY  LOWEST CAR.COMP.CAR
BY  LOWEST CAR.CARREC.MODEL
BY  LOWEST CAR.BODY.BODYTYPE

ON CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY SUBHEAD
"<CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY "
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE ROW-TOTAL AS 'TOTAL'
ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL AS 'TOTAL'
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
     INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/endeflt.sty,
$
TYPE=DATA,
     COLUMN=N2,
     BORDER-TOP=LIGHT,
     BORDER-BOTTOM=LIGHT,
     BORDER-LEFT=LIGHT,
     BORDER-RIGHT=LIGHT,
$
TYPE=DATA,
     COLUMN=N4,
     BORDER-TOP=LIGHT,
     BORDER-BOTTOM=LIGHT,
     BORDER-LEFT=LIGHT,
     BORDER-RIGHT=LIGHT,
$
TYPE=DATA,
     COLUMN=N3,
     BORDER-TOP=LIGHT,
     BORDER-BOTTOM=LIGHT,
     BORDER-LEFT=LIGHT,
     BORDER-RIGHT=LIGHT,
$
ENDSTYLE
END

Hi Mdc,

Welcome to Focal Point! I edited your post to add code tags so that it displayed correctly.

In the future, you can add the code tags to anything that you post which includes code as follows:
your code here
Or, you can use the code tag button which is the one at the end.

Cheers!

Kathryn
