FOCUS393Number of records in table , &lines are less than actual results in ssms dbms tool
Hi I have a query which returns 25 milion rows
and I am using sql passthrough and writting to a DFIX DELIMITER text file
If i look in log it says
NUMBER OF RECORDS IN TABLE= 6317518 LINES=6317518
but when I ran the report only 6 million rows exist in flat file ,
but when I ran same query in SQL server management studio it returns 25 mil rows
I looked at the connection time out setting on
data service agent it is set to -1 unlimited
connection_limit = -1

ABTthere is a size limitation to the FOC file format. I think XFOCUS is the largest there is. Try holding output as format ALPHA or LOTUS (i.e. CSV). This will give you a truer representation of the output.
