Hi, Is there any facility in Infoassist which allows us to pass comma separated parameters in filters? Let's take example of CAR in which we are generating report based on COUNTRY values which is passed as parameters as prompt using Text input(simple). In this type of filter we can only pass one value at a time. What i want is user can pass multiple comma separated values and report get generated accordingly for multiple values of COUNTRY.Is it possible in Infoassist? Please suggest.
Thanks in advance. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
It's a little different, but I was able to do this by setting an andvanced filter on a field such as country. Choose "In literal list" as the comparison type and &CountryList for the parameter.
The tricky part here is that when you provide the list, the first value should not have a begining quote, and the last value should not have an ending quote. This is because the tool puts quotes around the variable name. This should not be an issue with numeric fields however.
