I am having an issue with reading my HOLD file below. I have it defined as ALPHA and I get the following:

(FOC224) SYNTAX ERROR: &F_PERCTOT.D12.2.&M_PERCTOT.D12.2.&F_AUMPERC.D12.2.&M_AUMPERC.D12.2.&F_T12PERC.D12.2.&M_T12PERC.D12.2.

Check the manual - when you use -READFILE, you do not specify any variable names. -READFILE uses the metadata (.mas) to determine the HOLD file columns and the subsequent variables.
