[SOLVED]IBComposer Functions in App Studio

I am noticing that the IBComposer functions do not work in App Studio (both 8.00.8 and 8.1.4). I try and use these functions as much as possible due to the statement in the help. I can get values, but I cannot use them in my "if" statement. If I use normal JS it works fine.


Anyone else seen this or has something changed that I need to know about?

The Help file statement:

"Although HTML Composer is fully integrated with JavaScript, it is suggested that you do not create custom JavaScript that manipulates HTML Composer generated controls, as WebFOCUS cannot support such custom JavaScript code. Additionally, there is no guarantee that the JavaScript code will work correctly in future releases."

Well....

When you get the the values using these functions, it puts them into an array. I have never compared values using these functions.

Using this works

if (Filter1Val[0] == Filter2Val[0])
