I am working with HTML Page in WebFOCUS 8005. In the page , We need to save the report according to the parameter selection. For saving the report, I am using the save button but this save button is not working in Google Chrome. I am able to save report using IE8,9,10, Mozilla browser.
After clicking the save button, Its giving the JavaScript error in the Chrome Console -
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

I have no idea what you mean by the "HTML Save Button".
Do you have a line in your code like:
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT &WFFMT
If so, you can assign that to a Radio Button to choose the type of output. If you are trying to use the ON TABLE SAVE AS xyz command I think you are out of luck because the report will get saved on the server - I don't think it's possible to get something saved directly on the client machine, but the focwizards will jump in here and tell me off if I'm wrong about that.
Yes, I am trying with the same functionality which is available at HTML Composer page. It is working except of Chrome. I don't know , why this is happening. It should work in Chrome also. The requirement is that, i need to save the parameter from the HTML composer page.
Thanks! @vi

You had better post your HTML code between the code tags (last button on the right in red) and get the HTLM gurus to point out your mistake. If you have been editing the Composer-generated HTML by hand you are in for a big surprise.
It will most likely not work in Chrome because the version of Chrome that is certified to work with v8.0.05 is probably older than the version you're running on.
Hi Francis, Thanks for this useful advice. I just want to know that, If I need to run this functionality at upgrading Chrome version, What should I need to do.

v8.0.05 is certified to work with Chrome v29.

My suggestion would be to raise a case on InfoResponse asking when the chrome version support will be advanced to a newer version.
Remember, you will need your site code etc. to enable you to raise a case online. If you telephone the Tech Support desk then ensure that you have the necessary details to hand. Guide to using InfoResponse Online
