I am looking to find a solution, maybe a setting that I haven't found, to avoid the subtotal background to be expanded over the report width in a PDF format using IN +1 feature. It get expanded up to the footing width. Without the IN +1 it doesn't create that.
Here a sample to illustrate
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RETAIL_COST/P8M AS '' IN +1
COMPUTE RATIO /P6.2C% = (RETAIL_COST - DEALER_COST) / DEALER_COST * 100; AS '' IN +1
BY COUNTRY
BY CAR NOPRINT
ON CAR RECOMPUTE AS ''
BY MODEL
ACROSS SEATS AS 'Seats' RECOMPUTE AS 'Total' IN +1
HEADING
"PDF subtotal background issue"
FOOTING BOTTOM
"Page <TABPAGENO OF.EVAL <TABLASTPAGE"
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE SET HTMLEMBEDIMG ON
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
UNITS=IN,
PAGECOLOR=WHITE,
PAGESIZE='Letter',
ORIENTATION=LANDSCAPE,
SQUEEZE=ON,
LEFTMARGIN=0.25,
RIGHTMARGIN=0.25,
TOPMARGIN=0.0,
BOTTOMMARGIN=0.0,
$
TYPE=SUBTOTAL,
SIZE=10,
BACKCOLOR=RGB(166 166 166),
$
TYPE=FOOTING,
JUSTIFY=RIGHT,
$
ENDSTYLE
END
