Removing TOC from the drop downs

Hi all,

I have a requirement of adding the drop down filters in the report.
I add them using TOC feature of webfocus where it creates a separate drop down list for each required BY field.
The drop downs are created succesfully by adding the TOC command in the header code. But I need to remove that View Entire Report & Table Of Contents options which occurs at the end of the drop down list.

I just need the values of the field to be loaded in the drop downs. Can you please let me know If there's an option to do this?
The output format is HTML.

There doesn't appear to be an option for this request ... at least nothing I can find. You could remove those options from the drop down after report rendering by using the SET JSURL= setting to include your own JS file. This JS would then reduce the length of the combo box by 2. It might be a little tricky, but it should work.

Scratch that.

Step 1: Create a javascript file called /apps/baseapp/js/removeTocOptions.js with the following content:

toctreeNode.defaultArray = new Array();

Step 2: Add the following line to your focexec:

SET JSURL=/approot/baseapp/js/removeTocOptions.js

That should be enough.

hi Dhagen,
I tried creating a .fex file in which I mentioned the below code.
<script>
toctreeNode.defaultArray = new Array();

In the foc exec, I mentioned the path which is below.
SET JSURL=/apps/webfocus/adhoc/ibi/tgtapps/baseapp/removetocoptions.fex

But this didnt work, I still see those options.
As the .js files cant be created in the webfocus environment, I thought of this. I can see the files only with .html or .fex format.

Do you think this works only for .js files? Or just the <script> tag in a .fex file will do.
