Does anyone knows how to remove the "Tree" link from the Managed Reporting Dashboard banner?
I have multiple group views. Each group view contains reports for those users are assigned and allowed to run. I've modified the "LOGO and LINKS" for each group view to exclude the "Tree" link. Nonetheless, when users signin, the "Tree" link still appears.
Please advise. Many thanks.

What kind of Tree do you mention . The Tree in the banner? if so you can add or remove from a Group View following these steps : Choose the group you want to edit (check the box) Click on "Edit Look" click on "Logo&Links" then you can Add or Remove links like Trees
Thanks for info. I did the Edit Look option. It didn't work for me. When the first sceen that user signon, the "Tree" link still appears. When user click the Views to change view, then the tree link is excluded.

Perharps you need to reassign the view to the user associated to that Group View. Indeed I already encoutered refresh error when changing the content or look and field of my group view. To do that you have to select The Manage Users menu then check all the user name related to the group you modified and click on reassign button and then chosse the rigth Group view
If your purpose is to prevent a Group's members from viewing the (entire) domain tree, the admin functions allow you to restrict the members to seeing only the Role tree, which you can tailor to show the Group members only selected objects (or none at all).

Thank you all for the postings. It's a setting change for Group View that I missed.
Dashboard ViewBuilder->Group View->select a group and then EDIT SETTING->In the User Links section, you can select and remove any links from the banner.
Thanks again,

Shirley, you can always just edit the source file worp_users/{the group name file}/layout.xml where the {group name file} is ae_gbv or whatever... just edit this line, erase what you don't want:
Editing this file directly can avoid some whacky stuff happening via the view builder tool, if you've modified other things like the bannerHeight, etc. This message has been edited. Last edited by: susannah,
