I just read here in Focal Point that SU doesn't work on XFOCUS databases.
Is this true or just not denied?
WF 768 Hotfix 5 on Windows.

As far as I am aware, this was brought in to play in 7.6.5.

This was not supported when XFOCUS was first introduced.

Question regarding SET COMMIT=ON in edasprof.
I tried to add that but the agent abended immediatelly.
Should it be there only when SUFFIX=FOC and/or SUFFIX=XFOCUS?

You really cannot use SUFFIX=XFOCUS with Maintain. I say it that way because A LOT of the time it does work, but it has never been certified. If possible, ALWAYS use SUFFIX=FOCUS with Maintain. As for SU, there was a very good discussion here that I keep bookmarked. Find it at:

That has all the steps you need to make sure SU works in 7.6.

Now the million dollar question. When will XFOCUS be certified with Maintain and SU?

We are investigating getting this in 8.0. I am told it may require a complete re-write of the way Maintain works with SU, so it is no small task.
