As per webfocus document, we don't have HGRID with WHEN (Expression) . I want to have HGRID based on the condition i.e., only when end of the record in data section, horizontal line should be displayed.
If you want an underline at the end of the report then try
DEFINE FILE CAR DUMMY/A1=' '; END TABLE FILE CAR PRINT MODEL BY DUMMY NOPRINT BY COUNTRY ON DUMMY UNDER-LINE ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE SET STYLE * TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, $ ENDSTYLE END
If you want an underline after a sort break it's like this
TABLE FILE CAR PRINT MODEL BY COUNTRY ON COUNTRY UNDER-LINE ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE SET STYLE * TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, $ ENDSTYLE END
If underline does not do what is required then the next best option is to include the underline in a stylesheet as a gif image. That way you can size it however you want.
thangam, can you use the <HR> tag? hr=horizontal rule -HTMLFORM BEGIN !IBI.FIL.MYREPORT1; <HR> !IBI.FIL.MYREPORT2; -HTMLFORM END ...or DEFINE FILE CAR BREAK/A5='<HR >'; END TABLE FILE CAR SUM SALES RCOST DCOST SEATS LENGTH WIDTH HEIGHT WEIGHT MPG ACCEL BY BREAK NOPRINT BY COUNTRY BY CAR ON COUNTRY SUBHEAD " <BREAK " END puts a nice horizonal rule under each break section; you can apply style to that hr if you want; '<HR STYLE=....whatever >'
