Just had WebFOCUS installed a week ago and am going through some exercises. I am successfully able to add an image (.gif) to my report through Development Studio when I am creating a report. However, when I run the report the image does not display. Instead, I get a small box with a red X. Don't know if this is a setup parameter, authority issue, or what. Any ideas??This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

There are many posts regarding placement of images on the forum if you use the search tab. Part of it depends on the output type (PDF is handled differently than HTML and Excel.) Also, you probably need to move the images to your server so they are available there when a report is run. And you may need to specify a default URL location as well.

Darin

Thanks. I think the idea of specifying a default URL location is crucial. I am using the .gif images located in the sample folders that come with WebFOCUS but I think the approot url has not be opened to me for use for security reasons. Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated
