Hi All,
How to remove trailing zeroes after decimal places in numeric values?
Eg, 159,000.00 will become 159000
1.535135000000 will become 1.535135
-542,000.10 will become -542,000.1
-194,000.00 will become -194,000

Please advise.

Look the TRIM or TRIMV function.

You'll have to play back and forth with format, but it's feasible unless other suggestion.

I ran into something like this in the past while working with percentages.

Code:
-SET &PERC = 5.000000;
-SET &PERC2 = ATODBL(FTOA(&PERC, '(D9.6)', ALPHA_GROSS), '9', 'D9');
-TYPE PERC = >&PERC<
-TYPE PERC2 = >&PERC2.EVAL%<


Results:
PERC = >5.000000<
PERC2 = >5%<
