I have a program the is saving to excel:

ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K

It opens excel in a web page and does not show a save dialog. When I save from the webpage it creates an html save file.

How do i save this as excel?

Thank You in Advance.

The F12 key will bring up the Excel File save dialog. One the bottom of that dialog, you can change file type to .xls and/or rename the file, change directories, etc.

hope this helps,

Kevin

Make sure one of the cells in the spreadsheet is selected and press F12. It should give you a Save As box. Be sure and change the 'Save as type: ' box to 'Microsoft Office Excel Workbook'. That's always worked for me.
