is there a setting, or under the cover code adjustment, which will allow a report to (in MS Access terms) "grow" but not "shrink"?
Here's the layout:
REPORT-A.line 1........................ Report-B.(may be from 1 to 50+ lines)...
REPORT-A.line 2........................ Report-B................................
REPORT-A.line 3........................ Report-B................................
REPORT-A.line 4........................ Report-B................................
REPORT-A.line 5........................ Report-B................................
REPORT-A.line 6........................ Report-B................................
REPORT-A.line 7........................ Report-B................................
REPORT-A.line 8........................ Report-B................................
REPORT-A.line 9........................ Report-B................................
REPORT-A.line 10.(Always 10 lines)..... Report-B................................
REPORT-C.(tied / related to REPORT-B)..............................................
REPORT-C...........................................................................
REPORT-C...........................................................................
REPORT-C...........................................................................
REPORT-C...........................................................................
REPORT-C...........................................................................
REPORT-C...........................................................................
REPORT-C flows downward when REPORT-B has more then 10 lines. However, REPORT-C overlays REPORT-A if REPORT-B has less then 10 lines / rows of output. That's unacceptable. I'm sure that there's a setting, or work-around, for this, and I thank you in advance for sharing your insight in to this. BTW: There's a minimum of twelve reports on page one before the reports flow to the overflow page.
I've already thought of, and am working on adding blank rows to REPORT-B if there are less then 10 rows to display. But, I really don't like that idea as there should be a better way.
My next question will be: how do we track the page number correctly?

Almost OK... In this case, REPORT-B would overlay REPORT-C when REPORT-B grows.
I'm thinking about adding "blank fields" to REPORT-B to make it "at least" 24 (or whatever I need) rows of data. That'll make it at least as big as the minimum required.
Thanks for your suggestions...

Yea... my optimism paid off. Not the most succinct code I've ever written. But, it's a functional Work-Around. I know how many rows I need and how many rows I have and do the following:
ON MAINSORT SUBFOOT
"Subfoot text</##>"
WHEN LST.SubFootLines EQ ##
for each potential value (## is the number of lines needed COMPUTEd above the SUBFOOT lines)
