Hi All,

I am using Trim function in my report. It is removing the Leading Occurances and Both Occurances, but it is not removing the Trailing Occurances. Please anybody suggest me.

This is the example :
TABLE FILE MOVIES
PRINT DIRECTOR
TITLE
COMPUTE TITLEV/A39 = TRIMV('T', TITLE, 39, 'S', 1, 'A39');
BY CATEGORY
END
Thanks in Advance
Regards,
Koti

Koti,
If your field "TITLE" has trailing spaces, TRIM will not remove your "S". You can use the following:

TITLEV/A39 = TRIM('T', RJUST(39, TITLE, 'A39'), 39, 'S', 1, 'A39');

If necessary, LJUST the result.
