Just thought I would share the results of a case I had with Tech Support.

Background:
We have a scenario where we will need to combine the results of several reports into a single PPTX file (to be emailed).

We have a situation where some of the existing reports are already compound reports.

I tried creating a test where I had a coordinated compound report include a fex that had a compount report, as a component.

It worked (didn't expect it would).

I decided to ask Techsupport if including a compound report inside another compound report was supported.

The answer (as I expected) is "No, we do not or will never" support compound report components that are already compound reports.

So be aware, it may work but will not, ever, be supported.
