Is there anywhere to tell Developer Studio to use another typeface besides the default Courier? I'd like to use some other monospaced typeface that may be easier to look at.
I suspect that the answer is no and that I need to use an alternate editor but I thought I'd ask since I couldn't locate anything in the forum.
Thanks,

Closing the editor and opening it up again retains the previous font selection, so that indeed changes the defaults.
Now, depending on your Windows install you may have access to some monospace fonts other than Courier but the choices are very few. In fact, by quickly looking at my local installation I could only spot:
- Monospac821 BT - System - MS Outlook (which looks exactly like courier New) - Courier - Courier New
As the list of fonts is relatively extensive I could not try them all. Hopefully you'll find one you like. If not, you'll have to go the external editor route but unless those editors provide their own fonts you won't necessarily be better off.
Thanks man - It just never occurred to me to look at the View menu in an open fex. I assumed the menu commands didn't change. In any event, I did make the changes. This option does exist in v. 7.6.9 of DevStudio.
You are correct about the monospaced fonts being limited but you can sniff around the web and pick up some that are worth trying out. I successfully downloaded and installed the Bitstream Vera Sans Mono font pack and DevStudio was fine with it.

How come if it's soooo intuitive?
Thanks for the tip on the Bitstream Vera Sans Mono font. I may give it a spin although I'm so used to Courier New that it may take me a while to adjust. You know, old dog old tricks ...
I've been burned by the "1", one, and "l", el, and the capital "O" and zero "0"
So true. I'm already testing BVSM ... as expected my eyes feel strange in unfamiliar territory but I can already appreciate the clear difference between 1-l and 0-O. Cool.
