ArifLimit the number of values in Parameter
I am writing a report that requires use to select weekend date. My date table has hundreds of values for weekend field. I just want to show where vlue is > 01/01/2010 in parameter dynamic selection text box. How do I accomplish this?

WazYou want to enter "> 01/01/2010"
You could do this, and then you will have to change the ">" to a GT and then add it to the filter.
&Date = '> 01/01/2010' ;
-SET &test = &Date | ' ' ;
-SET &Test = STRREP (&test.LENGTH,&test,1,'>',2,'GT',&test.LENGTH,'A&test.LENGTH');
WHERE Field &Test
I think that an extra parameter may be a better way to go.

WazOops, I misunderstood.
You want to limit the values returned in the parameter its self ?

ArifI was thinking about using another procedure to populate the values in the parameter. Do you know how to use some other procedure to populate the values?

WazI don't think that would work, unless you have another process to create a new file to use on a regular basis.
Another option may be
&variable.(FROM Range1 TO Range2)., but may not work well with dates.

There are a couple of different ways to do this, and they are fairly well documented in the manual and on-line help. In the GUI, you just click on the "Procedure" radio button and tell it which procedure will supply the values. The procedure must create and hold the content as documented.
