NattawatCError Code NO_VER (Version not allowed)
I've been installing WEBFOCUS7.1 on Tomcat 5.0.28
When I tried to test the sample apps (NCC DEMO). There'll be the blank white page with the only text "Version not allowed" come up.
Where can I find any clues to solve this problem?
Thanks,
NC

RichHThis type of error usually indicates a configuration problem. What about a simple adhoc report, TABLE FILE CAR. Does that return data?

NattawatCNone of them have returned
Is it possible that this error caused by Tomcat?

RichHIF your not getting data returned from a simple adhoc request, then you have a configuration issue for sure. Try going to the WebFOCUS admin console and run the verification tests under the diagnostics section. That might help pinpoint the issue. Also, check the logs under tomcat for errors.

NattawatCI've dig through the WFServlet trace file and found this error messages
>1733:4935:ibi.webfoc.wfutil.WFRunScript.getVersion(WFRunScript.java:875):Can't get Version number from the script
>1734:4937:ibi.webfoc.wfutil.WFRunScript.getVersion(WFRunScript.java:876):Throws WFErrorException: wfContext.NO_VER
>1735:4940:ibi.webfoc.WFRequestWorker.processRequest(WFRequestWorker.java:428):WFErrorException
Do you think this clue will lead to something?

newtofocusIt is hard to answer configuration issues unlike other questions. I would suggest you open up an issue with customer support. However try the following.
http://localhost/ibi_apps/WFServletYou should get a response "No query information to decode".
If this fails then you have problem with your installation.

RichHNC,
IF you had an earlier version of WebFOCUS installed, like 52 or 53, check your configuration files for the Web and App servers for mixed directories, like an Alias still pointing to an old directory.
