I have tried to set the target frame to: -blank. The subsequent drill down that appears only consumes about 1/4 of my screen space...not enough to use the report without manually resizing it. Is there a way to make it open larger? This message has been edited. Last edited by: RobertF,
The window opens to whatever size Windows feels like opening it to. I use JavaScript to resize the window.
The official method of including JavaScript in a fex is to use the JSURL SET command:
ON TABLE SET JSURL '/approot/common/my_own.js'
In my example, my_own.js is a file located in the Web Applications area in a folder called common. The file contains two lines, one to set the position, one to set the size.
I've been studying what will be coming at me in v8.1.04. Check out the new AUTOFIT capability, as described in WebFOCUS Release 8.1 Version 04 New Feature Highlights (Reporting with WebFOCUS section):
"Dynamically Scaling HTML Report Output. The AUTOFIT parameter can be activated to dynamically scale HTML reports and charts horizontally to fill the entire container (window or frame) within your portal pages and HTML pages."
That's really nice for people that have or will upgrade to 8.1.04 in the very near future.

It sounds like it will fit the content to the window, not resize the window.
