Hi,
I am trying to get some code to work and I'm stuck here
When I execute the following....
SORT_BIMS/P12 = SHIPIMAIN || SHIPISUB;

ERROR : (FOC279) NUMERIC ARGUMENTS IN PLACE WHERE ALPHA ARE CALLED FOR

what is the data type of fields SHIPIMAIN and SHIPISUB?
result of concatenation(||) should be sotred in alphanumeric field, i.e. here try changing the data type of field SORT_BIMS to alpha numeric.
