We have reports written in InfoAssist that exceed the Excel limit of 65,536 rows. We need to save these reports as text files (tab delimited). Is there any way to do this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Thanks Tony, but the doc for InfoAssist only mentions the basic output formats (HTML, PDF, EXCEL, etc. and the help doc does not show an option for text.
I don't use InfoAssist (long story somewhere on the Point) but you don't have to stick to IA documentation to help you understand more on WebFOCUS. Click the Documentation link top right on this page and open up a new world of information available to you.

Indeed, you do not have to stick to IA doc, but if you want IA to be able to reopen the report you created and then tweaked outside of IA, then you'll have to stick to what IA can offer. And if IA does not offer a text save option for your data then you run the risc of IA not being able to open your request if you change it manually. It's worth a try though.
