[SOLVED] Report Caster, Report Library and email
I have a Report Caster Schedule that runs a fex with RC Distribution to Report Library. Upon successful completion I would like to send a specific email address a message stating successful completion.

It seems to me the only option I have is to use RC Notification - but that isn't really a user-oriented notification, but rather an administration notification. And, you cannot have one message for Error and a different one for Success.

I thought I could add another RC Task but the Distribution is at a Schedule level, not a Task level.

This seems quite backwards to me. Am I missing something?

Thanks.

One of my colleagues informed me of "Subscribe". Once at least one report is created in Report Library, the user can subscribe to it. They receive a notification the next time it gets created.

I like this solution.

Cheers.

Hi Francis,

When did this "Subscribe" feature become available ... in what release?

Thanks

Jim, it looks like it appeared in WF v.7.7.
