Will an application having HTMl, Excel and PDF version reports developed using WF 7.1.6 have any compatibility issues with Windows 7 ?

Each of those have their own application for displaying the output. HTML uses a browser, PDF uses Acrobat reader, and then Excel. The server which generates the report knows nothing about Windows 7. So as long as your "helper" applications work without issues in Win7, there shouldn't be any problems.
If you're talking about the development process (such as using DevStudio) there could be some issues, but none that I've seen so far.

Report output format has nothing to do with OS. Dev Studio used to have issues with Vista but so far no issues are heard with Windows 7
