Hello,

How to reduce the space between Across Data in PDF format?

Ex:
TABLE FILE GGSALES
SUM
DOLLARS
BY REGION
ACROSS PRODUCT
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT,GRID=OFF,FONT='ARIAL',SIZE=9,STYLE=BOLD,SQUEEZE=ON,$
TYPE=TITLE,STYLE=-UNDERLINE+BOLD,BACKCOLOR=BLUE,COLOR=WHITE,$
TYPE=ACROSSVALUE,ACROSS=PRODUCT,BACKCOLOR=SILVER,COLOR=MAROON,$
TYPE=DATA,COLUMN=P1,BACKCOLOR=GREEN,COLOR=WHITE,STYLE=BOLD,$
ENDSTYLE
END
-EXIT

If you run the above code, you can see the space between data. I want to specify the column number for those data as how we do for regular Tables (without ACROSS)? Right now the data exceeds the first page and the report shows in second page also.

Any suggestions,

Thanks

This makes it better...I'm sure there are other ways to help involving Squeeze and Wrap.

TYPE=REPORT,ORIENTATION=LANDSCAPE,GRID=ON,FONT='ARIAL',SIZE=9,STYLE=BOLD, SQUEEZE=ON,$

I think you want to reduce the gap between the columns with LEFTGAP and RIGHTGAP. In an edited version of your example, changing LEFTGAP and RIGHTGAP doesn't seem to make much difference:

TABLE FILE GGSALES
SUM
DOLLARS/D8/R
BY REGION
ACROSS PRODUCT
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=9, STYLE=BOLD, SQUEEZE=ON, $
TYPE=REPORT, LEFTGAP=0.02, RIGHTGAP=0.02, $
TYPE=TITLE, STYLE=-UNDERLINE+BOLD, BACKCOLOR=BLUE, COLOR=WHITE,$
TYPE=ACROSSVALUE, ACROSS=PRODUCT, BACKCOLOR=SILVER, COLOR=MAROON,$
TYPE=DATA, COLUMN=P1, BACKCOLOR=GREEN, COLOR=WHITE, STYLE=BOLD,$
ENDSTYLE
END

Kamesh,

For more information on formating PDF reports, take a look at the two articles about this under the Tips & Techniques section of Focal Point.

http://www.informationbuilders.com/support/developers/index.html

Look for "WebFOCUS HTML and PDF Report Design Part I and Part II"

Thanks!
