[CLOSED] How do I add footnote number in PDF report?
Hi,

I have a PDF report which has been created from a flat text file - I just have a lot of text which I print into the pdf report in a specific layout as required.

Now I have to insert footnotes for a couple of pages and I don't know if we can type footnote asterisk or numbers in the text file inorder for it to be printed onto the PDF report.

Footnote number being the small number which appears on the top right hand corner of a word and then also appears on the actual footnote (at the bottom of the page) on the top left hand corner.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Which font are you using ?

Take a look at CHARMAP and see what characters are available.

These are in the ascii characters up to 255, so usable.

Where would I find CHARMAP? What exactly is it and how do I use it?
Sorry, I am new to WebFocus and hence don't exactly know what you are referring to.

Thanks!

charmap.exe is the Windows program Character Map, which allows you to insert special characters not easily available on a keyboard.

Dummies: How to insert special characters with windows 7 character map

The characters normally used in footnotes are called superscript.
