I'm sure I've encountered this before, but I can't come up with a solution. I'm using WRAP to make a column narrower. The Column Title gets truncated with an exclamation mark - I thought that the colmn title would wrap, just like the data.
Example:
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
MODEL AS 'THIS IS A MODEL'
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, SQUEEZE=ON,
FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=9,
BORDER=1, BORDER-COLOR=SILVER,
$
TYPE=TITLE, STYLE=BOLD, $
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=MODEL, WRAP=0.5, $
ENDSTYLE
END
One solution would be to use commas in the column title (This,is a,model) but because I use borders, borders appear between each column title line.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Francis Mariani,

Well, borders do not appear between each line of the column title in this example, but in my real-world report they do, because of the background colour.
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
MODEL AS 'THIS,IS A,MODEL'
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, FONT=HELVETICA, SIZE=7,
BORDER=LIGHT, BORDER-COLOR=GREY,
TOPGAP=0.02,
BOTTOMGAP=0.02,
LEFTGAP=0.06,
RIGHTGAP=0.06,
$
TYPE=TITLE,
STYLE=BOLD,
COLOR='WHITE',
BACKCOLOR=RGB(8 94 129),
$
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=MODEL, WRAP=0.5, $
ENDSTYLE
END

I stumbled upon this post again, the solution is quite simple. If you haven't figured it out by now, just add a comma into the column alias i.e. MODEL AS 'THIS,IS A,4 LINE,MODEL' to get: THIS IS A 4 LINE MODEL Thanks to Susannah Wrap column title in PDF report

J, thanks for your feedback. I am aware of the solution, but I was unsure of using it as, in some version of Adobe PDF Reader, I saw dark grey lines between the individual lines of the column title and was afraid they would print.
Cheers,
Francis
