WebFOCUS version 7.7.02 is certified to work with Firefox v3.6, Safari v4.0.5, iOS v4.3... The world has moved on since these versions.
I recently discovered a bug when running an HTML Composer page in Firefox, Chrome or Safari. But since I had Firefox 12, Tech Support wasn't keen on looking into the problem so I downloaded Firefox v3.6.10 (in Windows, I found I could have two versions of Firefox) and, of course, found the same bug.
The very simple bug: in Managed Reporting, including a CSS or JS file through the point-and-click method of HTML Composer puts the file in the "Other" folder of the domain. This location can be found when the page launches in IE, but cannot in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc. The workaround is to put the CSS and JS in an app folder of the web server (the Web Applications area of Dev Studio), and hand-code the link to the file. In my opinion, this is where JS and CSS files belong anyway. This also occurs if you use an image as a background to a button.
The problem you're having may be related to this issue.
