Html Composer drop-down border color (IE9)
If I set the border color via the GUI for a dropdown box, the border does not display in IE. If I set the border via javascript (.style.border or .style.border.color) it still will not display in IE.
I am not interested in opening up a case because there are easy alternatives for my particular case. Just wondering if anyone has run into similar issues, maybe with other controls?

DougI don't think that's possible. However, you could add, and "bring to front, with a transparent BG" a "text#" box. to get something like this.
Or, maybe: jQuery?
Thanks Doug, it looks like I will have to use the alternatives. I found this happens for drop downs, list boxes, double list controls, and other controls that IBI constructed themselves (which makes sense that the standard js style wouldn't necessarily color it if they didn't code for it).
However, it is curious that only IE breaks when trying to do this the "normal way" via the gui or js. Another FFR (Fix Feature Request)...

DougEither a New Feature Request or, it may be fixed in WF8?
Any news on this from WF8 FocalPointers?
