I have seen a couple posts on here regarding issues using a SharePoint list as a data source to create MFD's; however, I didn't see my exact error or a solution.

Does anyone know what the following error means and how to fix it?

This error can be caused by a number of things. I'd like to recommend that you open a case on InfoResponse Online so that we can get some additional details about what is causing it.
