Hi All Developers

i need your help in order to create Dynamic Distribution list to be used with report caster.
i create table in my database i name it emailuser that hold 2 columns "BURST_VALUE , EMAIL_ADDRESS"

i create synonym as following:
quote:
FILENAME=EMAILUSER, SUFFIX=SQLSYB , $
SEGMENT=EMAILUSER, SEGTYPE=S0, $
FIELDNAME=BURST_VALUE, ALIAS=BURST_VALUE, USAGE=A50, ACTUAL=A50, $
FIELDNAME=EMAIL_ADDRESS, ALIAS=EMAIL_ADDRESS, USAGE=A40, ACTUAL=A40, $


my procedure that hold the data as following:
quote:
TABLE FILE EMAILUSER
PRINT BURST_VALUE AS 'BURSTVALUE'
EMAIL_ADDRESS AS 'MAILADRESS'
ON TABLE PCHOLD
END


but unfortnatly it is not working it gives me the following error when i checked the report caster logg:

quote:
inventorycontrol/destribut_zero_issued_dept_mgr: Unable to retrieve data for the distribution list



i appreciate your Help

If you look at the RC documentation about how to create a dynamic distribution list, you'll see that the names for the output columns (AS names) MUST be VALUE and DEST. Otherwise, it will not work. You probably also need a SET ASNAMES=ON.
