I have a master and a flat file stored in an application folder called DATAMARTS.

In WebFOCUS Content I would set my application, FIELDEF the flat file, and then code my TABLE:
-* PREPENDPATH DATAMARTS for master file of HLDSUM.
APP PREPENDPATH DATAMARTS
-* FILEDEF to physical location of HLDSUM data file.
FILEDEF hldsum DISK datamarts/hldsum.ftm
-*
TABLE FILE HLDSUM...

I am creating my first InfoAssist+ focexec.

I chose the master from the list of masters and now see the FOC226 error message: ...FOC226 FILEDEF OR ALLOC MISSING FOR EXTERNAL FILE...

OK, I'll buy that; but where in the gui would I put the FILEDEF command?

The IB HelpDesk assisted me.

I need to add the DATASET attribute, to the MFD of the flat file.
