Hai,

I face an issue when i use the format D10N (floating dollar)

Below is my FOCUS query and output:
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
DEALER_COST/D10N
END

Output:
DEALER_COST
-----------
$ 7,427
11,194
14,940
2,626

Note: Floating dollar is set only for the first row but not for the following rows.

Do anyone know why this problem comes.
I am trying to overcome this issue.
If any one know why this problem arise please guide me...

N
Fixed $ (for US code page)
Places a dollar sign ($) to the left of the field. The symbol appears only on the first detail line of each page. The currency symbol depends on the code page.

M is for floating dollar.

You got things mixed up. Alan is right. The N stands for NON-floating dollar, which is exactly what you coded. For other edit option, including the FLOATING dollar sign, take a look at the manual pages (or the help in DevStudio).
