Hello,

I reports in managed reporting but i want to use a 'common' folder to store procedures that are included in every report. I don't want a 'common' folder for these in each domain in managed reporting. I want just one 'common' folder to maintain. I was told I can create this folder under edaserve as an application and store the common procedures there. I was also told to use -MRNOEDIT -INCLUDE common/filename in the code so it would recognize the location as being on edaserve and not in the domain. When i try this I get an error saying it doesn't find the procedure. I seem to be missing something.

This is the exact syntax:

-MRNOEDIT -INCLUDE common/filename.fex

If that does not work try adding the file via the GUI:
include >> Look in: (browse up to your server) >> Data Servers >> EDASERVER >> applications >> common >> filename.fex

If you do not see any of those you might be missing something Big Grin
