i have a scenario where in;if the report takes long time to return more no of data;i need to save the output of my report to either some pdf or excel and send the export through an email or URl; as well as indicate the user tat the output wil be sent to them through email.
If Understand what you want, you need to determine at some point in the program to either return a report or save and send it another way.
If this is the case, I think you need to keep track of the Start time and current time, and at a predetermined amount of time, either branch to save the report and send it or PCHOLD it.
You will need to get the current time and determine the difference to the start time at each stage in your program.
Make sure you add -RUN to execute code up to that point, then check the time.
You both post the same question about this subject. I answered Shantu and some others did the same.
I think it would be wise if you both go to your management and asks them to send you to some basic training and if you have some project together start making appointments on who does the questions on FocalPoint. This would be more efficient than both posting the same questions.
