Is there anything in Webfocus 8 similar to MREXTRACT utility I used in 7.6?
That was really nice, it gave all users and groups they are in...
Does anybody know a new way to extract MR data in Webfocus 8?
Thanks
Alek

In WF8 the MRe repository is stored in a DB, perhaps you can write a query to get it ?

You could also put a case in with Techsupport.

Thanks Waz, I was thinking I'll have to do that... I was just hoping something was already in place.
Thanks again.

There may be, as I haven't done much with WF 8, I can't say, but perhaps someone else on the forum, or an IBI product manager may have a suggestion.

If you license WebFOCUS RESTful Web Services, you can use a .NET or Java program to extract MR Security.
If you also license the REST adapter, you can use a WebFOCUS report to extract MR Security.

We set up metadata against the repositroy tables and are in the process of writing focus reports that show the information we need.

Just an alternative in case you don't have a license for rest or a need for it other than this.

Getting what group people are in is a fairly easy report.
