I am going to answer these questions in advance:
Yes I can ftp from RC server using browser or FTP client software.
I think the part I am not understanding is
DISTRIBUTION information on report caster.
Report Caster Version 7.6.X(X=10)
FTP server: 206.18.104.84
Directory /FTPDirectory/Folder/Report name.xls
Username :Myusername
Password: xxxxxxxx
Distribution Information: (Option Selected Single File) /FTPDirectory/Folder/Report name.xls.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Report caster admin guide tells me how to create the distribution list and stuff but I am not able to see sample information.
All I want to do is FTP a report output in excel to a ftp folder on the ftp server.

Per our technicals, please check if your path for the xls file is correct – instead of Directory/FTPDirectory/Folder/Report name.xls
It should be DirectoryFolder/Report name.xls
If this does not work, then please open a case with Customer Support Services, and attach the screenshot showing your caster log report showing the problem. To open a case, you may either call at 1-800-736-6130, or you can access online at InfoResponse.
