Hi,

We have many reports where we want to dynamically include customer logo (jpg image) in the report. These are stored in a database table and have various sizes. Although we have tried to make them similar sizes there remain differences, especially in the ratio of height to width of the image.

We have succeeded to include these images in our reports (stylesheet IMAGE), but in several reports we want to scale the image with SIZE parameter. With the SIZE parameter you have to supply both the new width and height of the image, but then some images get distorted (square images become rectangular).

In our PDF output we have been able to solve this with PRESERVERATIO=ON, but this only works for PDF and PS, and not for HTML.

Does anyone have experience or a suggestion how to accomplish this for HTML?

thanks, Martin.

To avoid any problems with image sizing and proportions I would ensure I have the properly sized images - perhaps even different images for PDF and HTML. I wouldn't specify SIZE in the stylesheet.
