I thought the line number of the line where the cursor is positioned was displayed at the bottom of the Dev Studio Text View window, but I can't find it in v7.7.03, v7.7.02 or v7.6.8.
Am I dreaming?

Give me code, or give me retirement. In FOCUS since 1991
Production: WF 7.7.05M, Dev Studio, BID, MRE, WebSphere, DB2 / Test: WF 8.1.05M, App Studio, BI Portal, Report Caster, jQuery, HighCharts, Apache Tomcat, MS SQL Server
Yes - the line and column numbers are displayed in a small panel in the bottom right of the DevStudio window. I'm using version 7.6.9 of DevStudio sometimes it gets "lost" and disappears. Then I need to restart the program to restore it.
I noticed that when I open a procedure with the editor, line numbers are displayed in the status bar as Norb says; however, if I open an HTML file in the composer and go to the "HTML" tab (yeah, I know, nobody should do that!!!!) then the lines dissapear when I go back to my text editor and the only way to have them back is to restart Dev Studio.
It may not be a bug but a slap on our hands for daring to go directly to HTML source
