I'm creating a report in HTML. I need to remove the page breaks so that I get a continuous string of data. Is there a way to do this in the GUI? I've tried to set PAGE-NUM to NOPAGE, but that does not work. Thanks. This message has been edited. Last edited by: plusrelo,

Try
SET LINES=999999
You will get one Heading and one Column Title row at the top.

1. Double-Click the BY column, select SORT, unclick PAGE_BREAK
2. Select TEXT EDITOR and remove PAGE-BREAK
3. Do what Francis and Tony recommend...
Sorry, Francis/Tony, answering at the same time!!!
However, the SET button is the last icon (in 7.1.6 DS anyway). Choose SET from the list and enter 999999 (6 x 9s) in the Value box. Current value is 22.

I've got the same problem, but with a twist: My report, at times, is only subheads and subfoots. The detail lines are comments, by date, about certain funds and their values, which appear in the subhead/foot. However, depending on certain criteria, the comments may not be there...hence, I'll get only subheads/foots. The subhead/foot contain 4 columns, each of which is "SQUEEZEd" to certain widths. The report looks great when I use LINES=90, but when I use LINES=999999, I lose the SQUEEZE. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Mac, there's a problem with SET LINES > 998 Sometimes the problem kicks in, other times not. depends on how much other formatting is going on. so, try SET LINES=998 file under the strange but true category.
